In extremely windy winter conditions I decided to hike around the Bull Creek area in Kananaskis.  I didn’t really have any concrete goal in mind but ended scrambling up a ridge to a high point barely above tree line.  I brought my ice axe but didn’t have my crampons which ended up causing me some problems on descent. On descent I chose to climb down an indeterminate drainage that ended up in a vertical 5 meter waterfall that necessitated some creative avoidance down steep, slick slopes. (That'll learn me…till next time!)
